Read the Internet Queen and Her Report in One Article: An Investment Bible and Stock Selection Guide for the Internet Sector

On the early morning of May 31, Beijing time, Mary Meeker, known as the "Queen of the Internet", released the 2018 Internet Trends Report, which is also the 23rd year that she has released the Internet Report.
The annual Internet Queen report has become a must-read report for almost every Internet entrepreneur. So, who is the Internet Queen? Why does her report attract so much attention?
The Queen of the Internet: A Symbol of Wall Street in the 1990s
In September 1958, Mary Meeker was born in Indiana, USA.
In 1982, Meeker joined Merrill Lynch, then the most prestigious brokerage firm, as a stockbroker.
Meeker's career as a star analyst began in 1991, when she joined Morgan Stanley, a well-known investment bank, and began her brilliant career as a technology analyst.
Since 1995, Meeker's work has evolved in response to changing internet trends, focusing on how well-known companies such as Yahoo, AOL and Amazon will restructure and compete with each other.
Mary Meeker became a symbol of Wall Street in the 1990s, just as junk bonds represented Wall Street in the 1980s, when she became head of technical equity analysis at Morgan Stanley in 1996 and created a glittering new career on Wall Street: Internet analyst.
In late 2010, Meeker resigned as a managing director of Morgan Stanley, left Wall Street, and went to California to become a partner in KPCB, a well-known venture capital firm. Founded in 1972, Perkins Caufield & Byers is the largest venture fund in the United States, and its most proud masterpiece is the founding of Netscape.

In 1994, Mikel came across a story in The New York Times about the start-up company Mosaic developing a web browser. Mikel immediately realized that the web browser could change the way people access information. She then contacted the two founders of Mosaic and introduced the company to Wall Street investors.
Morgan Stanley was the lead underwriter of the initial public offering of Mosaic, which was renamed Netscape and listed in New York in 1995, thanks to Mr. Meeker's close relationship with the founders.
On August 9 of that year, the first day of Netscape's listing closed, and the share price soared from the issue price of $14 to $75, setting a record for the first day of a listed company at that time. Netscape's IPO that year also became a major symbol of the arrival of the Internet age.
In 1995, in addition to overseeing the listing of Netscape, Meeker and his colleague Chris Depp began publishing the "Internet Report", which was regarded by investors as the investment bible of the Internet field. It was published in a book and caused huge repercussions throughout the technology industry.
In 1996-97, Meeker and Morgan Stanley released the "Internet Advertising Report" and "Internet Retail Report", which established Meeker's position as the number one analyst in the Internet field in one fell swoop. The Internet Queen Report became a must-read report for almost every Internet entrepreneur at that time.
The Queen of the Internet report is no different from a stock selection guide. The stocks of AOL, Dell, Amazon, eBay and other companies she recommended to investors quickly brought more than ten times the return on investment.
The "God Prediction" in the Internet Queen's Report
The main reason why the industry values the Internet Queen's report so much is Mikel's divine predictions. Below, we briefly list a few examples of divine predictions in the Internet Queen's report.
